Microsoft continues its efforts to improve the Xbox ecosystem. Especially when it comes to the console’s dashboard, which continues to receive some pretty noticeable improvements not just in terms of performance, but in the form of new and new features. Not so long ago we already had news in the new November update. These include personalized recommendations, Discord, Twitch, etc.
Now we’re hearing about new features that the folks at Redmond are adding to their interface. Obviously, at present, these functions are only available to members of the Xbox Insider Program
New Insider Update for Xbox
Currently, Microsoft is testing various locations for the Start a Party button. Two subsets of users see the ability to start a conversation in different places. However, the most relevant thing about it is that both groups can see a new option called “Recent Games”.
This option allows you to see the last parties and to be able to repeat them again. Imagine the case (it happens to me) in which you usually repeat the same group of friends. With this possibility, you can quickly restart the group by sending a notification to previous members and avoid having to go one by one with each invitation. No big deal, but it definitely saves time. If you’ve ever used Skype, you’ll know that this option already existed for group video calls, now it would bring it to console/PC parties.
This feature is coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles, respectively, on all available models. It is very possible that it will also reach the Xbox app for PC.
