The New York Game Awards ceremony has been set for January 21, 2025.
The New York Videogame Critics Circle (NYVGCC) returns to the prestigious SVA Theater in Manhattan for the 14th Annual New York Games Awards on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
The awards ceremony, co-hosted by Harold Goldberg, president of the Circle, and Reggie Fils-Aimé, recipient of the 2020 Andrew Yoon Legend Award and former president of Nintendo of America, is set to be bigger than ever as the best games of 2024 be awarded.
Tickets for reserved seats at the 2024 New York Game Awards are $80 and can be purchased through Eventbrite. NYVGCC is also offering limited access to the afterparty with free drinks for $100.
Further details about the Legend Award winners, musical guests and presenters will be announced at a later date.
The New York Game Awards are the NYVGCC’s premier fundraiser for its Playing with Purpose writing program, which offers comprehensive courses and workshops in journalism and game storytelling in schools and homes throughout New York City.
Recent courses connect them with students and interns at Laboratory School, TAPco, Dreamyard Prep, BronxWorks Shelter, Mott Hall 3 Middle School and Andries Hudde Middle School.
