The rumor mill about the new Xbox consoles is currently bubbling. Now the next Xbox could even be released after the PlayStation 6.
It appears that Microsoft will no longer seek a direct publishing duel with Sony and wants to release the next Xbox console either before or after the PlayStation 6.
“Moore’s Law is Dead” claims to have learned that the new Xbox console generation will only start after the release of the PlayStation 6 console generation.
This hesitation could mean that the new Xbox console will not be released until after the PlayStation 6, as Sony already has several contracts with AMD and production can start early.
Microsoft has only now started working with AMD on the development of the new Xbox console, it goes on to say. The reason for this is said to have been that Microsoft is currently considering Intel and NVIDIA as partners for the next generation of consoles.
Microsoft is said to have given the green light for several Xbox hardware projects.
