EA Sports is proud to announce the highly anticipated partnership with the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF)! This new collaboration between our brands brings top international executives to the table NHL 22, as well as a time-limited content release in Ultimate Team and World of Chel until January 10, 2022.
From December 9th, the IIHF World Juniors and Men’s Teams will be available in NHL 22. Full teams and updated squads are playable in “Play Now” mode, so you can challenge friends with your favorite international teams. IIHF association logos and uniforms will also be available in Ultimate Team and World of Chel. The IIHF women’s teams will also be added to the Play Now mode in January 20 22, so keep an eye out for these!
International top tournaments with authentic branding and structures, including the junior and men’s world championships. The Women’s World Championships will also be available when the teams are added in January.

A couple of other key features added with the IIHF update are duty roster sharing and HUT team transfer. Squad Sharing is a new feature that allows you to upload custom squads and share them with other players around the world. Tweak player ratings, lineups and more to create and showcase your perfect squad.
When you start playing NHL 22 on Xbox One and have not yet founded a HUT team on the new generation of consoles, you will receive a one-time transfer of your HUT team value and progress to the Xbox Series X | S NHL 22, or.
