Some projects at Take-Two Interactive have recently been discontinued, but core franchises should not be affected.
Like many other companies in the games industry, Take-Two Interactive has been hit hard in recent months. 5 percent of the workforce was laid off and numerous projects were put on hold in order to save costs.
Many were therefore excited about the latest financial report, in which Take Two Interactive President Karl Slatoff commented on the current situation.
As Slatoff announced, there were no titles among the discontinued games that affected important franchises. In fact, they are still very much looking forward to the implementation of the projects that are currently in the pipeline. This will involve around 40 titles by the financial year 2027.
Slatoff also reassured that stopping the games on hold would have no impact on net growth. However, he did not go into detail about which projects had to be included.
