We’re excited to release our latest update today, Nobody’s Heaven: Prisms, free for all owners.
Virtually every aspect of the game has been visually redesigned. Planets, skies, stars, creatures, the weather, space stations, and more. New technologies and new art are making them look better than ever. We can’t wait for players to discover the changes.
As you explore planets, you’ll notice new weather effects, like rain breaking light and surfaces getting slippery and wet. Or venture underground in caves with new lighting effects, more detailed environments, and greater generational diversity.
Fur has been added to the creatures you encounter, adding extra detail and variety to the exploration and taming of companions. Flying creatures like giant beetles, flying worms and colossal butterflies can now be adopted as your companions and ridden through the skies.
The night sky now shines above you in the light of thousands of distant stars. New audio and visual effects transform your interstellar experience as you switch between destinations. In the space station, your freighter, and other indoor spaces, you’ll notice volumetric lights, detailed surfaces from Parallax Occlusion Mapping, and beautiful reflective metal surfaces.
And of course, with all of these visual improvements, it makes sense to upgrade the photo mode with improved depth of field and bloom controls as well. We love to see the incredible creativity of our community and are very excited to see what beautiful pictures they will surprise us with next.
Xbox Series X | S players will find detailed reflections, improved lighting quality, more detailed biomes, and more. Windows PC players with compatible Nvidia graphics cards can use DLSS and potentially double their frame rate.
