Activision announces that one of the most beloved maps in the Black Ops saga, Nuketown, is arriving free for all players today, November 1st.
Nuketown is a base map of the Black Ops series of Call of Duty games, having had a version present in all the predecessors of Black Ops 6. And what’s better, for those nostalgic, the version coming to Black Ops 6 is exactly like the first game in the series, in 2010. That is to say with some improvements typical of the current generation of consoles in which we find ourselves.
It’s a small map designed for chaos, carnage and very fast gameplay. Based on a 1950s nuclear testing facility in Nevada, it has a few buildings, a few vehicles, and a few smaller obstacles, but essentially there’s nowhere to hide. With 12 players, Nuketown fills up quickly and you really have to stay on your guard. Expect snipers from above windows and lots of players running and shooting with SMGs, so this is a map with constant action.
The exact time the map will be part of the multiplayer map rotation is unknown, but it is believed to arrive at the same time as the start of the daily mission rotation, i.e. from 5:00 p.m. (Spanish time). .
Today we leave the analysis of Black Ops 6 that our colleague Mario Vadillo published today.
