One Piece Odyssey: Friends Have Become Foes in the Reunion of Memories DLC, out now

Return to Waford and discover key historical events from One Piece twisted in Reunion of Memories, a new installment of the DLC for One Piece Odyssey. After completing the main storyline, the mysterious Black Cube will take you to the world of Altered Memories, where you will meet old friends and new enemies. But beware, this twisted Memoria has turned some of Luffy’s greatest comrades against him. This time Luffy must fight Sabo and Law to solve Waford’s last secret.

Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army

In Dressrosa’s new alternate timeline, Luffy will once again meet his sworn brother, Revolutionary Army Chief of Staff Sabo. But this time Sabo will not defend Luffy against Burgess like in the main story. Instead, Sabo will stand between the Straw Hats and their escape from Memoria. Enemies are tougher in the DLC, and the Straw Hats must consider when to open up the offense or focus on defense in order to survive Sabo’s attacks.

Sabo has turned against his brother through the power of the mysterious Black Cube. Since Sabo has the power of the Flame Fruit, many of Sabo’s attacks will set the Straw Hats on fire with the Incinerate status disease. Coupled with his Flame Dragon King attack, Sabo can quickly burn down a crewmate if they aren’t prepared for his fiery attacks.

Luckily, the Straw Hats can prepare for these fiery attacks by tuning their accessories for fire resistance, giving them an edge over Sabo. But beware: if the Straw Hats can overcome the flames and deal enough damage to Sabo, he will summon the mysterious Black Cube to replenish his health, boost his power, and unleash his most powerful area-of-effect flame attack. The cube lingers for a full turn before releasing its power.

But for the Straw Hats, this is the moment to strike! Finally vulnerable, the black cube is the key to overcoming Sabo. Destroy the Cube by exploiting its weak points with Speed ​​and Freeze-Elem-type attacks. If successful, Sabo will be weakened and the Straw Hats will have a clear path to victory. After defeating Sabo, they can move on to meet Law.

Trafalgar Law

In this new dressrosa, Law suffers no defeat against the tyrant Doflamingo. Instead, he single-handedly defeats him, which is where the combined might of the Straw Hats comes into play in the original story. Given the Tyrant’s strength, the Straw Hats quickly discover that Law has also fallen victim to the Black Cube. The black die gives Law a new attack that he doesn’t use in the main story.

Tact, a powerful area-of-effect ability, summons stone spikes from the earth, damaging all Straw Hats on the field and potentially wiping out the party on the fly if unprepared.

If the Straw Hats can survive powerful attacks like Sabo Law’s and deal enough damage, he will be forced to lean on the black cube to gather more power. The Straw Hats must destroy the Black Cube within two turns by exploiting its weak point with Technique or Lightning element-type attacks, or Law will become even more powerful.

Reunion of Memories takes you to the depths of Waford, where the Straw Hats are even challenged by their friends. In addition, encounters with unforgettable, wild characters such as Eneru, Mihawk, Perona and Whitebeard await you, which you never met in the main story!
