The online functionalities of NBA 2K21 will be discontinued at the end of the year and the online servers will be shut down.
The final baskets in NBA 2K21 will be shot later this year. At least online. As announced by 2K Games, the servers of the basketball video game will be shut down on December 31, 2022.
After that, it will no longer be possible to play ranked or online league games. The online functi ons in MyTEAM mode and online matches against other players are then no longer possible either. The modes in which VC (Virtual Game Currency) is earned or used are also affected.
NBA 2K21 will be discontinued on January 1, 2023. However, owners can still download it afterwards and play the offline modes.
