The date for the Open Beta and Early Access to the Open Beta for pre-orderers of Diablo IV has been announced.
As suspected, the date of the Diablo IV Open Beta was announced this weekend.
Strictly speaking, this involves two appointments. First of all, those who pre-order via Early Access will already have access to the beta from March 17th to 19th.
A week later, from March 24th to 26th, the open beta will take place for everyone.
You get the opportunity to play the prologue as well as the first act. The first zone, Fractured Peaks, is free to explore at your leisure and mow down Lilith’s demonic hordes and take on local quests. Your character can level up to a maximum of level 25.
Information about early access:
If you pre-ordered the game digitally, the beta will be open to you on launch day on the platform you pre-ordered on.
Those who pre-order the physical edition can now activate their early access code as follows:
- on diablo.com/beta Navigate and log into the Battle.net account or create a new one
- enter the code, select gaming platform and region (if available) from the drop down menu
- check the entries again before you press the “Redeem” button
- a success page will confirm that the code has been validated and redeemed for the account
- for PC players, the account will be activated immediately for access
- Console players will have a platform-specific beta download code sent to the email address associated with their Battle.net account shortly before Early Access begins
Blizzard Entertainment added, “Put simply, this is your opportunity to battle the power of the Burning Hells ahead of our June 6 release. That doesn’t stop the experience and you may encounter performance issues, dropouts, and things that just don’t work. After the Open Beta is complete, we will evaluate any feedback we have received and make changes where necessary. We look forward to giving them this little taste of what Diablo IV has to offer.”
Diablo IV will be released on June 6, 2023, pre-order from the Microsoft Store here:
