My games brings us a new title free third person game with touches of Fortnite Yes Escape from Tarkov (o Call of Duty: Warzone DMZ), Above all. Without further ado, let’s begin our impressions of this fun multiplayer called BROKEN:
HAWKED is an original multiplayer
The main premise of BROKEN it lies in loot treasures and eliminate other players that they will try to take these treasures from us and take them with them, on a huge map. However, if I consider that it is a title with an original proposal, it is because, to plunder these treasures, it will first be necessary solve some puzzles, rather simple (so as not to slow down the action of the game too much). Furthermore, not only We shoot guns and use an energy sword, but we also have skills with a cooldown and other passives, similar to what we see in the MOBA genre.
Once we get the treasures we will have to extract them when claiming an evacuation point, with the risk that, while we do so, other players appear who have the clear objective of preventing our extraction. Of course, it will be essential collect weapons from those same eliminated players or from chests we can loot, normally found in locations dominated by AI controlled monsters which we will also have to eliminate. Weapons, as usual, are divided into different categories, from “common” to “epic”.
It should be noted that, if we manage to extract the main treasure called “artifact”, which is the one we actually have to fight for, We will unlock a new skill every time we do this.
Fun with friends and cosmetics of all kinds
Obviously, in a proposition with these characteristics, the have fun with your friends and lots of customizable elements for your character. You can team up with up to 2 other friends in the only game mode available at the moment with crossplay is included, but no crosssave. This means that you can play with players on any platform, but unfortunately you cannot currently transfer your progress from one platform to another.
On the cosmetics side, we find a fairly complete customization of our character, being able to change between different face types, skin colors and clothing. There is a paid Battle Pass (with some free items for everyone) through which we can unlock many items of this nature, as well as skins for weapons, paints, etc.
Trade, another important element
In BROKEN We have several types of coins that can be obtained simply by playing, as well as one that can only be obtained after paying with real money. With those that we obtain for free, it is possible to purchase cosmetic elements, as well as skills from merchants who will wait for us in the “lobby” of the game, a place before the games where we will meet other players and exchange. with these merchants (also to sell items), among other things like practicing our shooting in a shooting range.
It is something very interesting that we can move freely in a small room where we can interact with other players and show our personalized character, while we trade or practice our shooting.
Anyway, what did we think of HAWKED at first?
BROKEN It positions itself as an interesting and original free multiplayer title, with very well implemented mechanics like puzzles. However, suffers from some problems typical of a game that has just been released (even if it was previously available in early access). Sometimes you’ll experience server crashes, intermittent lags, and long wait times when searching for games, although this is a problem they’re fixing little by little. Furthermore, some content is still missing in the form of different game modes and maps, which we will surely see throughout their seasons. But at launch, this is what we have, and it’s a very good basis for training in the future, which can be an excellent proposition to consider.
We say goodbye, reminding you that in The Xbox Space awaits you with all the news, analyzes and articles on your favorite hobby.
I’ve been playing video games for as long as I can remember, so it’s safe to say I enjoy talking about them a bit.
