DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO: Full character roster revealed. With 182 characters, this is the largest in DB history!
Bandai Namco Entertainment has revealed the full character roster for DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO.
With 182 characters, this is the largest in the history of the Budokai Tenkaichi series. In addition, producer Jun Furutani revealed more information about the “Episode Battle” and the “Custom Battles” in a new video.
The following characters from different parts of the Dragon Ball universe are featured in the new video:
- Dragon Ball Super: Cabba, Cabba (Super Saiyan), Cabba (Super Saiyan 2), Frost, Toppo and Frieza Army Soldier
- Dragon Ball Z – The Movie: The Legendary Super Saiyan: Broly (Z), Broly (Z) (Super Saiyan), Broly (Z) (Legendary Super Saiyan)
- Dragon Ball Z – The Movie: Revenge of Frieza and Cooler Returns: Cooler, Cooler (Final Form), Metal Cooler
- Dragon Ball Z – The Movie: Attack of the Cyborgs: C-13, Fusion C-13
- Dragon Ball Z The Movie: The Killing Zone of Garlic Jr.: Super Garlic Jr.
- Dragon Ball Z – The Movie: The Strongest Man on Earth: Dr. Willow
- Dragon Ball Z – The Movie: Super Saiyan Son Goku: Lord Slug, Lord Slug Giant Form

In addition to the new characters, the video gives a deeper look at episode battles and custom battles.
In Episode Battles, players can relive epic battles from the anime from the perspective of eight different characters: Son Goku, Vegeta, Son Gohan, Piccolo, Jiren, Future Trunks, Goku Black and Frieza. Son Goku’s Episode Battle will be the longest. The storyline begins with the Saiyan invasion of Earth and extends to the Tournament of Strength in Dragon Ball Super.

Custom battles allow players to not only discover original scenarios from the development team, but also to create individual battles using various cutscenes before and after battles, free character selection and various effects and then share them with the community.
DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO will be released on October 11, 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (via Steam).
