The gameplay trailer for Overthrown demonstrates the construction of a city with a lot of muscle power.
Maximum Entertainment and developer Brimstone have released the first full look at the highly anticipated chaotic open-world city-building title Overthrown during Gamescom.
The trailer shows the wild antics that players can expect once they get their hands on the powerful crown that will allow them to take control of their kingdom:
Pick up and throw anything – from small objects like logs to huge, towering pines – to build and maintain your land. Even throw your own citizens. Build and manage your territory either alone in single player mode or with friends in co-op mode for up to six players.
Use the power of a magical crown to protect the townspeople from bandits and mutants. Build, collect resources, explore and farm to turn a young state into a self-sustaining community.
Grab your friends, put on your crown, and prepare to transform your land from barren to powerful.
Overthrown will release this fall via Game Preview on console and PC in Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Pass, and will later be released in version 1.0 for Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PlayStation 5.
Visitors to Gamescom have the opportunity to experience Overthrown for the first time at the trade show at the Indie Arena Booth or at Microsoft.
