A partnership has been formed between Microsoft and Unity to support digital creators.
As Microsoft explains today, Unity has chosen Azure as its cloud partner to enable the creation and operation of real-time 3D experiences (RT3D) with the Unity engine.
Unity gives developers easy access to RT3D simulation tools and the ability to create digital twins of real-world locations and objects they need for games or other non-game related content.
The partnership between the two companies will also enable developers to more easily bring Made with Unity games to Windows and Xbox devices to reach more players where new opportunities for success are emerging.
Commenting on the partnership, Sarah Bond, CVP of Game Creator Experiences and Ecosystem at Microsoft said:
