Hello everyone everyone! You may remember us from our previous title ChromaGun some time ago. Well, we have some exciting news for you, and I’m about to jump out and say it: Can’t drive that officially coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X on March 19th | S! And even better: it can be pre-ordered now. Did I mention that there is also a 10% discount? It’s really!
Can’t drive that is a chaotic, asymmetrical split screen multiplayer party racing game (buzzword bingo?) where one player drives a monster truck while another player builds the road! And if the driver breaks the speed limit, they explode and it’s game over, baby. Like that movie with Sandy B and old Johnny Cyberhands, do you remember? Except that they were on a bus. Plus, they didn’t explode (sorry, spoilers).
We worked on it Can’t drive that for a while now and we’re so excited to finally bring it to Xbox. We miss the days hanging out with friends and playing some good old couch multiplayer games. The lack of split-screen games for four players is outrageous, isn’t it? Therefore Can’t drive that offers local multiplayer with up to four players – regardless of whether you fancy a cooperative high score hunt or a friendly round of competitive Capture the Egg (Yes, Eg. Not Flag).
Don’t worry if you don’t have friends to play with (which, to be honest, you probably don’t at this point). Between single player and online multiplayer, you can safely enjoy the game from the isolated comfort of your couch.
The first prototype for the game was created in just 72 hours during a game jam in 2016 – and now, generous funding from FFF Bayern, and more than four years later, it’s finally time to push the baby out of the nest. Can’t drive that is available for pre-order now from the Xbox Store and will be transferred to your hard drives on March 9th.

Can’t Drive This is a competitive co-op multiplayer party racing game. Drive your monster truck while your friend builds the road in front of you! Oh, and don’t go too slow or you will explode! Like in that Sandra Bullock movie where she does the same thing but on a bus. In addition, it does not explode (spoiler alert). Keanu Reeves was also in the film.
