We have just started Path of Exile: Scourge that contains everything that defines a classic ARPG: terrifying demons, impending danger, cool items and powerful ways to build your characters.
When you arrive at Wraeclast, a hooded figure appears out of nowhere, frightened to ask for your help. You are encouraged to embed a rusty looking device inside your body known as a blood pot. When you kill enemies, the Crucible fills with their blood. When a threshold is reached, you can activate the crucible of blood, which temporarily transports you into a parallel reality where some kind of apocalyptic event is taking place.
Corruption permeates this reality and harms you if you linger too long. Put items in the blood pot to take advantage of this corruption. Once you’ve absorbed enough corruption, you can convert your items for powerful upgrades. But be warned, corruption will unpredictably give your articles an advantage and a disadvantage. But don’t worry, you can put them back in the Crucible up to three times and try again for stronger effects!
If you want to turn back time, summon giant tornadoes or turn your weapons into glowing energy blades, then we have something for you. In addition to the launch of the Scourge expansion, we’re introducing tons of exciting new skills to help you decimate the voracious hordes! If you enjoy playing with your friends, we’ve added six special skills that you can use to connect and help each other.
That’s not all! We gave the iconic Way of exile Skill tree revised in Scourge. Everything will still feel familiar, but now you have even more options to create cool new characters with passive skill masteries. Become the best weapon bearer in Wraeclast or master the arcane arts; The choice is yours and the possibilities are endless.
Killing demons and creating great characters is hard work, so we’ve made a ton of guild improvements! Now you can hang out with your squad in your own guild hiding places and collect your items in the newly added guild versions of popular storage registers.
