Microsoft will introduce the Paysafecard as a new payment option.
As the colleagues of Dr. Windows report, Microsoft will enter into a cooperation with the Austrian payment service provider Paysafe in the coming year. The Paysafecard will initially be introduced in 22 European countries as an additional payment method for the Microsoft Store and on Xbox.com. Supported Xbox consoles are also expected to benefit from this payment option early in 2021.
In addition to Germany, the new offer starts in Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Europe, Sweden, Switzerland and Great Britain. More countries will also be added in the coming year.
