The PC adapter for the PSVR 2 will be available in stores in August for 60 dollars.
Following the news of the certification of a PC adapter for the PSVR 2 last week, an official announcement has now been made.
Sony Interactive Entertainment will launch the accessory on August 7th for a price of 59.99 dollars. Owners of the virtual reality device will receive “access to Steam’s extensive library of thousands of VR games, including favorites such as Half-Life: Alyx, Fallout 4 VR and War Thunder,” according to the PlayStation blog.
To use the adapter, you will need, among other things, a DisplayPort cable (not included) that is compatible with DisplayPort 1.4.
The PC requirements include the Windows 10/11 64-bit operating system with Intel Core i5-7600 / AMD Ryzen 3 3100 (Zen 2 or higher required) and 8 GB RAM.
The manufacturer specifies the graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 or higher (Turing or higher required), NVIDIA RTX series, AMD Radeon RX 5500XT or higher/ AMD Radeon RX 6500XT or higher.
