Hazard Zone, for those who didn’t know, is a brand new mode that’s featured for the first time. starts Battlefield 2042 This puts you in a small squad of four tasked with locating and retrieving data drives from crashed low-orbit satellites scattered across the battlefield. The challenge is that you face off against opposing squads with the same goal.
And it’s not just about being the first party to get the data drives; It’s also about getting your data drive collection to the extraction point before a massive storm enters the area and wipes everyone out (if an enemy squad doesn’t do it first). You can get a detailed insight into the danger zone in our first-look preview here on Xbox Wire.
After looking at this new type of game recently, we found that this game mode has tremendous depth, where choosing the right mix of specialists, weapons, gadgets and tactical upgrades is the key to survival. That’s why we thought of giving you a few helpful tips that will help you and your team get started with Early Access right away Battlefield 2042 starts on Friday, November 12th.
Tips for danger zones
Not everyone needs a data drive scanner
One of the most important (and free) devices in the danger zone is the data drive scanner – it is used to scan the field and locate a data drive. Make sure to coordinate with your squad while in the pre-match equipment screen to determine this who will be responsible for this task because not everyone needs a data drive scanner – you should try to put together the best balanced roster to be successful in the danger zone. When you choose who is to oversee data drive scanning, the rest of your team can free up their equipment slot for other useful technology.
It’s okay to back off
Chances are, you’ll run into other teams fighting over the same data drive collection, either player squads or AI-controlled occupation forces. It may be tempting to battle an enemy team and wrest control of a data drive away from them, but there are plenty of other locations on the map to choose from. When the fighting gets too hot there is no shame in retreating to a different, less hostile location. Recall
Get to the last extraction point early
There are two extractions that take place during the game, but if your team chooses to hold out with your plethora of data drives on the final extraction, it can create a hell of a hectic (and fun!) Experience with everyone trying to get in on the final CV -38 Condor and be flown in safety. In our experience, knowing the location of the last extraction point is best to get there first and establish a solid defensive position to fend off other squads. And don’t think that once you get to the Condor you are good to go. Keep fighting until this counter reaches 00:00, putting down suppressive fires to keep these enemy squads at bay and crushing their last ditch effort to get to safety. bonus: If you fend off these squads and you have time left, try adding their discarded data drives to your collection.
