A new gameplay trailer for Deathloop reveals the exact end date of the PlayStation 5 exclusivity of the shooter.
The development studio Arkane Studios is now an Xbox game studio through Microsoft’s takeover of ZeniMax / Bethesda. Even before this deal came about, the studio had signed an exclusive PlayStation deal for its shooter Deathloop with Sony.
Similar to other agreements made before the takeover, the limited-time PlayStation 5 exclusivity of Deathloop will continue to exist. According to Bethesda, this will cover the first twelve months after publication.
The exact date on which the exclusivity will end is revealed in the new Official Gameplay Walkthrough video for Deathloop, which was shown at the recently held State of Play presentation and uploaded to the official PlayStation YouTube channel.
At the very end of the video, the PlayStation 5 Console Exclusive screen appears, stating that Deathloop will be available exclusively for PlayStation 5 and PC until at least September 14, 2022.
