These are this year’s games exhibitors at the second largest trade fair, the Polaris Convention.
The POLARIS Convention (October 11th to 13th in Hamburg) is not only a wonderful community event, but also lives up to its position as the second largest gaming event in Germany: new games from Nintendo, CAPCOM and are available for fans to play more. And there is also a great selection of indie games again in the popular Indie Area.
As in recent years, one of the big gaming headliners at POLARIS is the Japanese gaming company Nintendo. Numerous new titles will be available to play on a large stand. More details will follow from Nintendo itself in the next few days.
But CAPCOM will also be well represented again. After Monster Hunter Wilds was playable worldwide for the first time during its brilliant appearance at gamescom, the POLARIS is also pleased to have one of the two exciting quests from Monster Hunter Wilds that can be played so far on site.
In addition, Street Fighter 6 will not only feature Terry Bogard from SNK’s Fatal Fury as the series’ first-ever guest character, but also two brand new features. The appearance is rounded off with Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess to experience the thrill of the unique Kagura action strategy.
Bandai Namco is having a booth at POLARIS for the first time and is showing the new Tekken 8 on PS5.
There are 14 titles available to play in the popular indie area, including the literally picturesque action-adventure Constance, the mystery detective game Morriton Manor Stories: Nordic Whispers and the Metroidvania About Cannons & Sparrows, in which you play as a small winged cannon.
At the Gamecity Hamburg stand there will also be brand new games from five game studios from the Hanseatic city, including companies such as Tiny Roar and Lost the Game Studios.
Fans of retro games will also get their money’s worth and can immerse themselves in the history of PC video games in the exhibition curated by gaming journalist and author Stephan Freundorfer.
This and much, much more awaits you at the POLARIS Convention this year, which is now almost sold out. There are currently only a few tickets left for Saturday. So if you still want to be part of the coolest entertainment event of the year, you can here strike.
