Several private venture capital companies are said to be interested in taking over Ubisoft.
Apparently, Ubisoft has attracted the interest of private equity firms interested in acquiring the French developer and publisher.
As Bloomberg reported, the private equity firms Blackstone and KKR are said to be among the possible buyers and have taken a close look at Ubisoft.
But all of this is still at an early stage. Ubisoft itself had no serious negotiations with potential buyers. It is also questionable whether the main shareholders have any interest in it at all.
