From IO Interactive, they feel comfortable with their ambitious project
Sometime ago, IO Interactive announced their new title with a brief teaser: Project 007. This new video game of the legendary secret agent has not shown much, but we feel that after Hitman it was the ideal studio to bring James Bond back.
From the point of view of creativity and thematics, the project leader Veronique Lallier
“It will be a very good project, very impressive. I am very excited about it.“, said Lallier. “It’s so close to our DNA history that it seems perfect, a perfect fit, you know, and everybody, I mean, everybody’s very excited.
“And I mean, if you look at what we’ve done in the past with Hitman, 007 feels organic to us because we’ve done, you know, stories about agents doing things.” It may sound simple, but I can’t think of a better studio for a new James Bond title.
For the moment and after several video game events, nothing of the game has been shown, but we hope to see something soon because they admit it “I really can’t wait to show it”. It will have a completely original story that will put us in the shoes of James Bond when he obtained his 00 status, thus showing his origins.
At the moment, we don’t know the release date of Project 007, which was announced in 2021, so it shouldn’t be long before we see it. Maybe at Gamescom or The Game Awards? We’ll be watching. In the meantime, let’s remember the first and only teaser to date:
