Xbox Games Studios is said to have been brought on board as publisher for Hundred Star Games’ first game.
The two co-founders of Rocksteady Studios (Batman: Arkham series), Sefton Hill and Jamie Walker, founded their own studio for AAA games, Hundred Star Games, in early January.
Nothing is officially known about her first project, but Extrude wants to know more. According to the report, the first project will be a AAA single-player action adventure in Unreal Engine 5.
Hundred Games is also said to have entered into a partnership with Xbox Games Studios, which would be a big step for the development of the young studio. Xbox Game Studios would finance the game and act as publisher.
The question of whether the game will be released exclusively for Xbox and PC cannot currently be answered given Microsoft’s recent approach to multiplatform releases.
Hundred Star Games is said to employ around 100 people, 20 of whom previously worked at Rocksteady.
