Puzzle Quest 3 is a free-to-play title coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 in April.
Publisher 505 Games and developer Infinity Plus Two announce that Puzzle Quest 3, the next installment in the puzzle RPG franchise, will be available worldwide on April 18, 2023 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 will be.
Puzzle Quest 3 returns to its origins, recalling the RPG mechanics and distinctive heroic stories that made the original a popular hit in the match-3 genre. The sequel features exciting head-to-head combat that pushes the boundaries of the genre once again with an intense 1v1 combat system in a 3D game world.
Since its initial release, the game has undergone several major changes, including a new action point system that continues the legacy of the original Puzzle Quest. This includes a greater focus on direct combat, where the puzzle board is manipulated and the heroes must plan their fights more strategically.
Puzzle Quest 3 also introduces two new classes, a new adventure mode, a larger puzzle board, and multiple seasonal storylines. Other improvements include an overhaul to the economy that reduces resource complexity and improved distribution of rewards in story chests based on community feedback.

Set in the land of Etheria, 500 years after the original Puzzle Quest, players embark on a heroic journey to discover the meaning behind the ancient Red Dragon’s last words. The familiar but revamped game board offers fans colorful gems and skulls, sophisticated systems, recognizable characters and an epic story, all in new 3D game graphics.
The game features an immersive turn-based combat system in which deadly spells and crippling attacks are unleashed through the power of gem-breaking and depending on the number of Action Points available.
