This is the biggest disappointment in the long list of announcements of the day Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. At the end of the Six Invitational tournament, Ubisoft presented its roadmap for the next twelve months. Expected to be 7 early this year, the functions of cross play and from cross progression
In order to release everything we’ve talked about so far, we need to delay the launch of cross-play and cross-progression until later this year.

The disappointment is necessarily great, especially for console gamers who wanted to see the presence of keyboards and mice in the title becoming widespread. The two elements are necessarily connected for the sake of balance.
However, the title’s age provides its explanation without fully excusing this shift. siege is now a veteran in the competitive multiplayer FPS family. The game celebrated its sixth candle last December. However, its development began more than ten years ago. Back then, the Ubisoft teams just didn’t anticipate the possibility cross play
The long wait is therefore frustrating but also reassuring. It proves the studio’s involvement in releasing a cross-platform version of Rainbow Six Siege as successful as possible. Now it’s time to wait calmly for this particularly hoped-for functionality.
