Nixes has revealed the recommended and minimum requirements for porting Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart to PC and you don’t need an SSD to play it, although it is recommended.
In a few days, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, the latest game in the Insomniac franchise, will land on PC. A work done by Nixxes Software, a company that today revealed the minimum and recommended requirements for the game.
Among all the configurations, the minimal option stands out, where we see that no SSD is necessary to be able to play the title. Of course, the developer recommends using this type of memory on hard drives. SSD which in the rest of the configurations is an expected requirement.
Minimum requirements
- Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce Now 960 or AMD Radeon RX 470
- Processor: Inter Core i3-8100 or AMD Ryzen 3 3100
- RAM: 16 GB
- Operating system: Windows 10 64 bit or higher
- Disk space: 75 GB on a hard disk (SSD recommended)
Recommended System Requirements for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
- Graphics card: NVIDIA GEForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700
- Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600
- RAM: 16 GB
- Operating system: Windows 10 64 bit or higher
- Disk space: 75 GB on an SSD
Additionally, the company has also shared specs for different premium performance configurations, mostly focused on 1440p and 60 FPS or 4K and 30 FPS, with different Ray Tracing options. For this type of configuration, state-of-the-art components are required, such as an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 if we want to play at 4K, 60 FPS and the highest and most powerful Ray Tracing settings.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will be released on PC on July 26, 2023.
