Raven Software’s union has filed a complaint against the parent company.
A complaint against Microsoft and Activision Blizzard has been filed by the union of Call of Duty studio Raven Software.
The complaint was filed with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). The parent companies are accused of having participated in “concerted activities”. They specifically participated in retaliatory and disciplinary measures with malicious intent.
There are also allegations that employment conditions were changed without the consent of the union.
CWA President Claude Cummings Jr. told GameFile: “Following Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard, our members were optimistic that they would quickly reach an initial contract with Raven Software. Unfortunately, that did not happen. We encourage Microsoft to address the concerns raised in the unfair labor practice lawsuit and make reaching a fair settlement a priority.”
