Rebel Wolves is a studio made up of former CD Projekt RED employees who participated in the development of The Witcher 3 that of Cyberpunk 2077. The study was created at the beginning of this year 2022 by the director of The Witcher 3: Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, also CEO of this studio.
Rebel Wolves: an ambitious study
Recently, the study found that they would receive strategic investment from Chinese tech giant NetEase. As we know, this is the acquisition of a minority stake in the shares of the company, maintaining complete independence.
After going public with the investment, the study’s CEO and founder made the following statements:

The funding provided by NetEase was the last missing piece to move forward at full speed. With the resources available to create a world-class AAA game, we can now focus on what matters most: development.

After founding the workshop, it had been announced that they were developing an AAA. The specific game is Dark Fantasy Action RPG for PC and current-gen consoles using Unreal Engine 5.
