It’s hard for a subscription (whether in video games or other types of platforms) to offer as much quality and options as Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The arrival of this service was a very interesting addition, but it also offered users the possibility of getting Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at a cheaper price thanks to a small “gap”. However, according to Microsoft itself, it seems that this possibility has been reduced considerably.
It will no longer be profitable to trade months of EA Play for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate
To date, if we had a 1 year EA Play subscription, we could trade it in for 4 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which saved us a lot. This has been changed, as stated by Microsoft itself on its way:
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can redeem EA Play codes for the Xbox console, but they will automatically convert and extend their Game Pass Ultimate membership. One month of EA Play will extend a 10-day Game Pass Ultimate membership, and a one-year EA Play code will extend a 2-month Game Pass Ultimate membership.
