It’s worth all the lights on the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and its spectacular, multiplayer campaign. A multiplayer that will allow us for the first time to fight in the water, and even do it in third person, as we told you yesterday. But we can’t forget that this year Warzone 2.0 is also coming, the successor to the franchise’s Battle Royale.
And we can now point in red on the calendar when we make the jump to this new fight: November 16, 2022.
Warzone 2.0 shows all its novelties
Indeed, the launch of Warzone 2.0 will coincide with the arrival of Season 1 in Modern Warfare 2 and will bring us largest map in the series to date: Al Mazrah. Of course, all the news of the main title of the franchise will be available. This includes naval combat and new vehicles. On the latter, in addition, they will have new mechanics, such as the possibility of running out of gas and having to refuel, or the possibility of repairing the tires if they are damaged.
Other novelties included in this suite will be proximity chat between teams or a Renovated Gulag. On this occasion, instead of facing another player alone, we will team up with another person in a team duel to be able to resume the activity. A fight that incorporates novelties in the closing circles, which will be divided into several before closing in a smaller one for the final battle.

On the other hand, Fortresses are embedded, reinforced buildings that the AI occupies on the map and it will be up to us whether we involve them for nice rewards or not. We also have special areas at your disposal to get the best possible equipment.
As for the DMZ, although very little has been revealed, we were able to learn that it is described as a “rico sandbox” where players can set their victory condition.
