Last Thursday Capcom He offered us a preview of the new opus of this legendary saga. A RE showcase in which we could see the game in motion and its producer, Pete Fabiano, he told us everything launch information and how certain mechanisms of the title work.

And it will be the May 7 when Resident Evil VIIIage will go on sale. New version has been confirmed Xbox Series X / S

Well, if you haven’t made the jump to the next generation yet, don’t worry, the game will also have a version in Xbox one and it will be compatible with Smart delivery.

We will put ourselves in the shoes of Eth an Winters

, protagonist of the previous installment. The details of the story were revealed to us and we were able to see areas of the game like the castle, with a spectacular graphic level, the setting is overwhelming and it seems to have a lot of fantastic hues, deviating a bit from the vibe of the previous installment.

The return of Ethan Winters

They also left us details on some mechanisms like combat and blocking, or stock management, also the figure of the Merchant, and we met Alcina Dimitrescu, the huge, haunting woman we saw in previous trailers, who owns the castle.

You can book a luxury digital edition with additional content and a package which includes the previous delivery, Resident Evil VII. As a celebration for the 25th anniversary of the saga, a mode has been announced multiplayer called Resident Evil Re: Verse, included with the main title. And, if that wasn’t enough, a collaboration with Division 2, and the launch of Animation Film for Netflix, Resident Evil Infinite Darkness, which will be released this year.

After what was seen in the Event, and taking into account that not much for its launch, they only increased our desire to play VIIIage.
