It is one of those sagas that, with its second part, has left more than one fan waiting for a third that will boast more of the work done. He CEO of Spawn Entertainment recently commented that the chances of seeing a third part anytime soon are slim

We won’t get Titanfall 3, at least in the short term

Vince Zampellahe CEO of Recurrencestated that the good idea must come from them. Moreover, for this team of developers, it would not be convenient to delegate case of titan 3 to another dependent studio. He is aware of the importance it has for the fans, to which he adds “it is a very appreciated franchise by the fans and also by us. If it’s not the right time, the right idea, then it doesn’t make sense.”

The rumors were born a long time ago, and it seems like EA could have canceled this year the project of Titanfall for single player with new adventure. It seems that the study Recurrence focused on other projects such as Apex Legends or the recent Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
