Riot Games has revealed that the name of its 2v2 fighting game, previously known as “Project L”, will be 2XKO. The game is expected to launch in 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and X, and PC. Additionally, to celebrate the new name, the company’s social media channels are now active. 2XKO defraud @Play2XKO. Members of the fighting game community can now join it on X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, Tik Tok and Facebook. In these, the community will be able to learn more about the game, view work in development, leave comments and much more.
Riot Games continues to work alongside the fighting game community in the game’s development; To this end, more opportunities are being created for players to try out the title and provide feedback to the development team.
Throughout 2024, players will have the opportunity to try out 2XKO demos in different cities. The first stop on “2XKO’s FGC Tour” will take place at Evo in Japan in April 2024.
