Riot Games is preparing for the arrival of a new expansion for Legends of Runeterra: walker of the worlds. The company’s card game is preparing for the arrival of four new champions, new keywords, more than 65 cards to collect and the release of The Path of Champions 2.0.

walker of the worlds brings with it a huge update for The Path of Champions. A huge re-release of the popular PvE mode released last November, Path of Champions 2.0 will give players the chance to explore Runeterra like never before.

Over the past week, some of the letters which will arrive with this extension. The presence of new mechanics and keywords stands out:

  • Champions of Runeterra and Origins: Worldwalker introduces the Champions of Runeterra, champions who belong to no region. Adding a Runeterra champion to the deck will count as one of the regions used. And every champion in Runeterra relies on a single rule when building their decks, Origin, which defines what cards can be used with them.
  • Spawn: From the depths of the ocean, Spawn spawns powerful tentacles, greatly increasing its power to crush the competition.
  • Blessings: Blessings, a new type of “trap”, are effects that will be attached to cards in your deck and triggered by drawing those cards. Bard and his little friends will include the first blessing, Bells, to improve the cards in their hand when drawn.

  • Jhin: is the first Runeterra champion of LoR. Its origin, the Virtuoso, allows players to add any card with abilities to their deck.
  • Annie – Brings her destructive power to LoR, ready to disintegrate her foes alongside Tibbers.
  • Bard: Worldwalker’s second champion of Runeterra, his musical allies place Bells in decks to grant huge stat boosts to cards in hand.
  • Illaoi: With the help of the Serpent Mother, Nagakabouros, Illaoi summons and empowers devastating tentacles to tear the enemy bond.
