Following Vicarious Visions’ merger with Blizzard Entertainment that resulted in the formation of Blizzard Albany, a new patch is coming to the ranks of Diablo 2: Resurrected. While it is true that this new update includes some improvements in terms of balance and quality of life of the title, the main reason for patch 2.4 is to prepare the game for what will be the Competitive Ladder, the points system who, after a delay, arrives on April 28.
This modality will have different variants, for example, classic organizes a four-act tour with a new character, the hardcore classic is the same but offers only one life. On the other hand we will have extension ladder which is equal to classic
Diablo 2: Resurrected comes back to life with a new mode
At the end of the season, the Ladder character will migrate to the other game modes with the items they already have in their inventory or equipped. Players will also be able to get all the items they have before the start of the next season, if they don’t they will be lost forever.
