The indie fighting game will get a sequel in 2024

Aether Studios has announced Rivals of Aether 2a 3D sequel to its 2017 pixel-art 2D fighting title. This second installment will arrive sometime in 2024, and according to its creators, it will do so on as many platforms as possible.

Ether Rivals is an ambitious indie fighting game that is now back with a new installment, which promises to offer much more than the first. However, the development studio is small, so it will take time to see its release.

We’ll have to wait a few years, though that doesn’t mean we won’t hear about the game sooner. In fact, they commented that Aether Rivals 2 will have a beta in 2023 that will help develop and improve the product.
