Christopher Dring speaks on a podcast about the release of some games that are under development at Xbox Game Studios.
In the podcast “VGC Off The Record2“Said Christopher Dring of GamesIndustry that he had spoken to a few friends from Xbox Game Studios. A large number of new games are currently in development there. Also included are the promising games such as Everwild, Fable 4 and Perfect Dark Reboot.
The release of these games is said to be so far off, according to his sources, that he casually added in a joke that a new Xbox could even appear before that.
Dring explains, “If you look at the games, I have an Xbox Series X and I love it. I have a PS5 and I love it. I play my PS5 because of the many exclusive games I don’t have on the Xbox. And if you look at the Xbox … Xbox has a lot of amazing studios and these games are coming, but I had a few chats with some friends at Xbox Game Studios and these games they announced – Everwild, Perfect Dark, Fable – are so far away. ”He even jokingly said that“ there might even be a new Xbox when these games come out … they’re so far away. ”Regarding the rumor that Xbox will release Hideo Kojima’s next game, added Dring, “I wonder if Xbox is looking to invest in signing certain products right now because they don’t have a line-up of major exclusives.”
Currently, Microsoft’s Xbox Game Studios schedule is unclear. There are rumors that Forza Horizon 5 will be released later this year. The Microsoft Flight Simulator for Xbox was announced for summer 2021. Halo Infinite will also be released in 2021.
Release dates for Psychonauts 2, As Dusk Falls, Grounded, Starfield, Avowed, Everwild, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, Forza Motorsport, Wolfenstein III and many more are still pending. Furthermore, the test phase for Forza Motorsport 8 has already started.
