According to current rumors, Halo Infinite will receive a Battle Royale mode and be released piece by piece.
There are currently many rumors surrounding Halo Infinite on social media platforms like Twitter. So Halo Infinite is supposed to be published piece by piece and split like a Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
Allegedly, the first four chapters are to appear in 2021. Another area of the game should therefore be the free Halo Infinite Battle Royale mode, which takes place on the Zeta Halo Ring.
There are also rumors that the game’s release will be accompanied by two more spin-off games. One of these spin-offs is said to be a sequel to the Halo Wars series. The other spin-off allegedly revolves around the fire team Osiris, which is known from Halo 5 and deals with what happened during the events of Halo Infinite.
Please note that these are currently only rumors. So far there is no official statement from Microsoft or 343 Industries on these theses. Meanwhile the Tweet from “Gaming Leaks & Rumors” also removed again. Reasons for this were not given.
The last official information about Halo Infinite, which is being developed for PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S, was only that the project would be postponed to 2021.
