Volition announces that its reboot of Saints Row has just received its first major update. It is called “Bright Future” and fixes almost 200 bugs of all kinds. It also increases general stability, improves multiplayer mode and brings improvements to the aiming system. Many other changes are also part of the patch, which you can find fully at this address.
Saints Row received a mixed reception when it was released last August. Embracer, the band that recently took over studio Volition, shared the issue.
And apparently Saints Row would have met the projected sales targets for the first quarter of the launch. The public and critical reception, however, was disappointing. Suddenly, Volition is broadcast within Gearbox. The latter, also in Embracer, marks the first major transfer within the group. This “guardianship” will allow all the creator’s know-how to flow into the franchise border areas
