at the beginning of the year, Rare promised to add limited time adventures in sea of thieves throughout 2022. It’s something they more than realized, after last month’s adventure, lost sandsRare is already giving us a preview of the next adventure, The abandoned hunter.
The new adventure will focus on the legendary sailor “Merrick”, who disappeared after his exploits in Golden Sands. Everything indicates that the objective will be to investigate this fact and follow the clues that we can find, until solving the mystery after his disappearance. The abandoned hunter will launch on June 30 and will be available until July 14.
Rare also confirmed that Season 7 will debut in July.possibly after The abandoned hunterwhich will end the previous one. Several additional navigation-focused options will be included in the new seasonlike the ability to name your boat, redecorate both interiors and exteriors and such.
sea of thieves is available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC in addition to Game Pass.
