Sabotage Studio’s RPG title is available on Xbox Game Pass and its new co-op mode is currently in development
Indie studio Sabotage Studio has announced big news for its hit title Sea of Stars. The team works in a three-player cooperative mode in local mode as part of an update coming soon.
Sabotage says mode will “stay true” to single-player gameplaybut hopes to add a new dimension to the title with this new cooperative feature.
According to the terms of the study: Called “Single Player+,” this mode allows three players to travel together in Sea of Stars. True to the roots of turn-based gameplay, each player will engage in exploration and combat with a new “timed cooperative strike” mechanic as they embark with their friends on the grand Sea of adventure Stars.
The new mode is currently in development and more details will be released soon.
Along with this announcement, the team also reached another milestone following December’s impressive player numbers. Sea of Stars already has five million players worldwide on all platforms, including the Xbox Game Pass service.
