Sea Of Thieves is the best-selling PS5 game in May

In the United States and in Europe.

Rare’s Sea Of Thieves was probably the most notable Xbox game to make its way to PlayStation 5 earlier this year. Well, it looks like Microsoft’s cross-platform transition has already paid off for the Xbox owner.

In a new article published on the PlayStation Blog, Sony detailed its software sales charts for May 2024, where Rare’s pirate adventure topped the charts in the United States and Europe. Yeah, Sea of Thieves is officially the best-selling PS5 game in both regions as of May 2024.

While we’re not too surprised (Sea of Thieves was also the best-selling game in the European Union in April), It’s great to see Xbox taking a big share of PS5 sales

. As for Rare, they’ll probably settle for a huge wave of new Sea of Thieves players this year.

As for what Xbox gamers can expect in the future, The team revealed that Sea of Thieves Season 13 will land on July 25 on all platforms

as announced by Microsoft during the Xbox Games Showcase.
