Season 9 features the Makeshift Chests. Valuable chests that can only be found inside a conquered makeshift fort. Players who complete the challenge to find one will be able to turn it in to get parts for the new Fates of Fortune ship set. Symbol of the ultimate treasure hunter, the Fortune Fates cosmetic range will continue to grow in future updates, and Fortune Chests will move around the world to be obtained in different ways.
Additionally, Season 9 introduces a number of updates to improve the experience at sea. Now, world events (including kraken, megalodon…) have been balanced to match the strength of your crew. Players will also be able to spend Doubloons on new voyages exclusive to Pirate Legend, and ship captains will find a more extensive logbook with detailed accounts of their most recent exploits.
