Baltimore Ravens player “Kyu Blu Kelly” signs a deal with Microsoft for a new game and shares his idea for his own game.
In a Baltimore Ravens interview with cornerback player Kyu Blue Kelly, the player shared an idea for a game. This should be so good that a contract for the video game implementation would have been concluded directly with Microsoft.
Official information or confirmation from Microsoft is still pending. Blue Kelly reports that he brought up the subject while talking to a friend of his father’s. The friend, who is not named, seemed enthusiastic about the idea.
The following question was asked in the interview: I read that you have signed a contract with Microsoft for a video game that you are developing, and you are also involved in real estate development. Can you tell us what triggered these two things? (Brian Wacker)
“Believe it or not, it’s quite a cliché – my father. It’s funny, for the video game, we have a friend of ours who made a movie that’s coming out soon. It’s based on what the video game is based on. He introduced it to my dad and I just play video games. They both knew nothing about video games and he said, ‘My son plays a lot of video games and said Kyu, can you write a story? Like a storyboard or a log or some kind of lore for this game and a story based on that?’”
“I just sat down for a few hours, made a whole storyboard, characters and stuff like that. They gave it to the company and they really liked it. So the game is still in development; we’re still at it. It’s definitely coming out soon with the movie and all.”
When asked what the film and especially the game will be about, the NFL star remained silent.
“I can’t talk too much about the film. But the video game is…if you can imagine a SEAL Team Six going back in time to stop people from altering historical events, that’s what. So let’s say someone tries to take something in a different direction… I’m saying too much. (Laughter) But yeah, that’s the whole scope — like a time travel SEAL Team Six.”
It remains to be seen how and what the combination of film and game will bring and whether a contract has really been signed with Microsoft for Xbox.
