Despite this injustice, the Outer Tribunal was formed, strengthened by its mission to pass judgment and restore order. But for true justice to prevail, the Order needed more than pious judges—they needed an executioner. Enter: VII. VII is one whose past is recorded on the tombstones of the wicked. He is a tithe collector of guilty blood. He undertakes missions most men would break, and enforces justice with ruthless power and deadly precision. VII, the Outer Tribunal’s right-hand man, is the newest playable Paladins Champion!
VII is the newest flank champion to join the Paladins roster. Its heavy SMG allows for quick switching between burst fire, auto, and mag dumping – making it a deadly force as it effortlessly adapts to its enemies’ attacks.
VII also instills fear with his other abilities, such as Explosive Dodge, which allows him to quickly dive in one direction and evade an explosive trap. VII’s Grappling Hook ability allows him to cling to walls and stealthily fall on his enemies. Finally, VII’s Ultimate Decree 77 is a deadly ability that allows him to target up to five enemies with his mask and unleash devastating damage. If you’re on VII’s list, there’s nowhere to hide from his brass-masked gaze.
Alongside VII, there are exciting new updates to Paladins, including a brand new game mode – Siege: Beyond! Just like in Siege: Core, players play against opposing teams to capture and secure cargo to earn points. However, Siege: Beyond will include rotating gameplay features called “Schisms” that will allow players to experience classic Siege gameplay in new and exciting ways! Several rotating Schisms will debut throughout the year, with the first Schism of 2022 being a brand new item shop. This new item shop gives players more unique combinations of items to choose from than ever before, ensuring that no two Siege Beyond matches are ever the same!
