The next Streets of Rage entry is called Streets of Rage Revolution, according to a recent SEGA presentation.
An announcement at the Game Awards confirmed a previous leak. A new chapter of the classic Streets of Rage is in the works. With Streets of Rage Revolution, SEGA has now decided on a name for the next part.
It was previously revealed that Streets of Rage Revolution would be a 3D game, moving the series away from its roots as a 2D side-scroller.
Out of a presentationwhich has become public in the last few hours, also creates key art for Streets of Rage Revolution. This shows the protagonist of the series, Axel Stone, looking down on the streets from high above the roofs of the city.
The logo – possibly just a preliminary version – can also be seen in the key art. According to SEGA, the game offers you the opportunity to clean up the city streets as an ex-police officer – and thus end the eponymous “Streets of Rage”.
