SEGA unveils Sonic and Minecraft collaboration

Many may have gone unnoticed at the event that SEGA celebrated, as a celebration of the Sonic’s 30th birthday, a small collaboration between the blue hedgehog and Minecraft. The announcement was short enough, but long enough to let us know that it is already underway.

During a segment of Sonic Central, Sega showed a series of small commercials. One of them was an insanely short shot of less than a few seconds of a Sonic build inside Minecraft (see 3:48 minute in the video below).

Sega will give more details on this crossover soon

It’s unclear exactly what this crossover is, but given that it has to do with Minecraft and previous collaborations with this game were free maps, texture packs O skins of the characters in the title in question, it’s no wonder that’s what this is about.

Minecraft has gotten us used to small crossovers every few months, so it’s no surprise that on the 30th anniversary of the Blue Hedgehog there has been a collaboration between the two brands. During this year we will see a series of collaborations related to Sonic. The Japanese company announced that it more details on these crosses throughout the year.

For all the latest news on the Sonic and Minecraft collaboration, don’t forget to keep an eye on Generation Xbox.
