A name that has remained dormant for a long time in the world of video games is precisely that of Shadow Man. In case you don’t remember, there was a title released in 1999 for different platforms that gave us a slice of the world and the traditions which implies this name which comes from Valiant Entertainmenta comic book publisher.
And after more than 24 years of absence without a new game (not counting the remaster that we received in 2021), we already have the announcement of Shadowman: Darque’s Legacywhich is the new title based on the comic of the same name and which will once again place us on this character.
Shadowman: Darque Legacy is both near and far
Despite the joy of the announcement of this new game, everything indicates that its launch will take place during the last four months of 2024, at least that is what we can see on the official page of the game, so there is still much of the time. In order to know more information about the title that is in charge of Puffer Fish Studios
On this occasion Shadowman, or better known as Jack Boniface, will venture into an original story where we will converge with the genius of Brave entertainment. Some of the details we have are:
- What kind of game is Shadowman: Dark Legacy? We Are is a third-person action-horror adventure that sees players take on Shadowman’s scythe, following a dark path from the land of the living to the hellish realm of Deadside.
- What platforms will it be available on? The title will be available on PlayStation, Xbox and PC consoles.
- Will this new game tie into other Shadowman comics stories? The game will be independent of other comic book stories and will take place outside of Shadowman continuity. This original story was developed by Blowfish Studios in conjunction with Valiant Entertainment.
- Will the Shadowman: Darque Legacy game have a comic or an adaptation? Yeah. Shadowman: Darque’s Legacy explores a pre-game story, complete with a chilling tale of Shadowman’s origin and other surprises.
