The latest update to Diablo Immortal: Shattered Souls arrives on December 14th! This comes with several updates, including: new confidanta new zone called The south of the Realm of Terrorone new quest line and event as well as 5 new reliquary bosses!

- Familiar: Players can now travel Sanctuary alongside loyal allies called Familiars, who provide individual bonuses and useful skills. Shattered Souls starts with eight familiars, five of which are in the blog entry be described in detail.
- The South of the Realm of Terror: At the core of Diablo Immortal’s story lies the south of the Realm of Terror. It became an apocalyptic wasteland after Tyrael destroyed the corrupted Worldstone. The zone’s main quest leads to the growing Gray Quarters camp, inside Steelquarry, and into the depths of teeming canyons created by the destruction of Mount Arreat.
- Battle of the Guardians: In this tower defense-style zone event, players must protect the wilds of the Realm of Terror.
- Five new reliquary bosses: These can be encountered in three new Inferno difficulty levels: Inferno IV, V and VI. To unlock Inferno IV difficulty, players must defeat Saarodan, the Sky Divider on Inferno III and reach at least Paragon level 1,100.
